Short Notes of my Life
Aug. 8th, I published Two Odes ly Mr. G production of my press.
In Sept. I erected a tomb in St. Anne's Chur for Theodore, King of Corsica.
In Oct. 1757, was finished at my press ; Hentznerus, translated by Mr. Bentley, to w an advertisement. I dedicated it to the Soc quaries, of which I am a member, as well as Society.
In April, 1758, was finished the first impr Catalogue of Royal and Noble Authors, which I the preceding year in less than five months, same time Mrs. Porter published Lord Hyde's p I had written the advertisement.
In the summer of 1758, I printed some Fugitive Pieces, and dedicated them to my cot Conway. About autumn I erected at Lintt a tomb for my friend Galfridus Mann; the d Mr. Bentley. The beginning of October I pui Whitworth's Account of Russia, to which I -w vertisement.
Nov. 22nd was published a pamphlet wri Bentley, called Reflections on the different Ideas ( and English in regard to Cruelty. It was designe a bill (that I meditated) of perpetual insolvent the dedication. It was not printed at Strawben
Dec. 5th was published the second edition of ] of Royal and Noble Authors. Two thousand TI but not at Strawberry Hill. I was much abu the Critical Review, and more gently in the Mot by the forme* for disliking the Stuarts ; by t liking my father,—opinions I am not likely to the Gentleman's Magazine of February following railing criticism, but so foolish, that some parts
